Is Recycling an Opinion?

No! Recycling is not an opinion, but it sure seems that way. Everyone has a different interpretation of what is recyclable, and what happens when you “recycle” it.

If you are passionate about household recycling (i.e.Blue Box collection) and you are diligent in rinsing, sorting and separating your “true” recyclables in the correct collection receptacle, then you are a rare gem and I give you a Gold Star!

If you are clearing out clutter from your home, take stock of the donation centres in your community. Learn what they accept, and ask questions. Don’t use them as a dumping ground! Non-profit organizations cannot tolerate high operating costs, for sorting, and disposal, so please be kind and give sensibly.
